I really enjoyed this assignment. My daughter loves horses and is a cowgirl at heart so I had fun capturing some of details that I will always want to remember. The first picture I really liked but I felt like it was too distracting in color. There is a lot going on in the background with all the people and the colors that they are wearing so I changed from color to b & w. I liked way that the b & w contributed to the rustic western feel so I made the other two photos b & w as well.
WOW, such gorgeous pictures Jamie! Your daughter is absolutely adorable! Love the details and the story they tell! The photos being black and white really gives a nice time piece (or different era) feel too.
