love the way you composed the shot with the little girl (your daughter?) holding the nest - beautiful use of less is more. and you caught a great moment in your decisive moment shot - love how you turned it black and white to emphasize the relationship!
Ugh! I just left a comment but it didn't post :-( OK- here is what I said:
My favorite of all of these is the nest picture. I love the texture you captured and I love how you can see the hands holding the nest. Great shot!
For the silhouette ( which I love) the only thing I would have done differently is to get an angle so that the dog's head didn't intersect with that cloud visually. I always have difficulty placing subjects for silhouettes so their sil. is clearly visible with no intersections.
And the last shot, I really like the little one's smile. I am left wondering what dad's expression is. I wish her hand wasn't covering up dad so much. But hey- this is life. Everything isn't always just so!
Beautiful sun flare-silhouette shot! And, then the dark, moody shot of the nest feels like an old film capture from long ago---very storytelling and rich. Sweet, apex moment caught in the last one...any parent can feel the depth of that! Janet

ReplyDeleteMy favorite shot in this set is the last one. The expression on her face is as if she's just been told a joke. Nice job.
